What Size do I Need?

Pet Legacy urns can cater from pets weighing all the way up to 90 kg and are suitable for holding ashes of any pet. Pet crematoriums can’t usually give you an exact amount of ash that you will receive as it is not an exact science. As a general guide one kilo will equate to around 38 mL of volume for an urn.  You should always opt to buy a larger urn than what you think you might need if you intend to store all of the ash. Take a look at our Buying Guide if you would like more information.

Are Your Urns Handmade?

All urns at Pet Legacy are handmade from the highest quality materials available. We do not compromise on quality and our skilled artisans share this value by putting in their best work and love in each and every urn.

Do I Need to Purchase an Urn From the Funeral Home or Crematorium?

The answer is no, you don’t have to. Any funeral home or crematorium will be more than happy to store the ashes in an urn you provide beforehand. This is good to know as you might not have as many options if you were to buy in person and the prices may be more expensive.

What are Your Shipping Times?

At Pet Legacy we know receiving your pets urn, cremation jewellery or memorial is important and so that's why we offer free express shipping on all orders. Through Australia post, you should receive your order within 2 to 7 business days depending on your residence.

Can I Return my Urn if I Change my Mind?

We accept change of mind returns within 14 days of receipt. Products must be in unused, saleable condition in their original and unused condition and in the original packaging. We will refund the full value of the items ordered to your original payment method. Freight charges are non-refundable.

What is a Keepsake Urn?

A keepsake urn is a small urn designed to only hold a portion of your pets ashes. They are used to divide ashes amongst family and friends, or to have a small urn in case you don't like the look of a bigger urn. They are a great option when there are multiple people who want to keep a part of the animal's memory with them.

What is Cremation Jewellery?

Cremation Jewellery is a beautiful way of keeping your pets ashes close to you. It is high quality, sterling silver jewellery designed to hold a small portion of your pets ashes. They normally come as necklaces but can also come as rings and wristbands too.

What is a Pet Memorial?

Pet Memorials are essentially a gravestone for your pet that you can put in your backyard. These are a perfect way to mark where you have buried your beloved pet and can be personalised with their name, photo and other tributing items. They are a great choice for people who don't like the look of an urn or who are electing to bury their pet.
